April 6th
Clay targets 25 yards any
sights
.22 rifle Bolt Action or Semi Auto; 2 classes.
Fastest time to break the clays wins!
June 1st
Long Barrel
Revolver / Pistol Pistol 1
Stage 1:- 50 yards, 12 shots in
2 minutes including a reload
Stage 2:- 35 yards, 12
shots in strings of 6. Target will make 6
appearances of 3 seconds. ! shot only per
appearance. This is shot twice.
Stage 3:- 25 yards, 6
shots The target will make 3 appearances of 3
seconds. Only 2 shots to be fired at each
appearance. Maximum of 6 rounds loaded at any
time! Total shots 30 Maximum score 300 inward
scoring.
July 27th
Full Bore
Rifle. Prone 100 yards
Open Sights. Military or Gallery for
Dick Roger's Trophy. 5 sighting shots, than 10
shots to count.
August 6th
Wed Evening
Chris Ashcroft Trophy
 Advance to target. Any service rifle Open
Sights. Slings may be used. Ammunition to be
within range safety certificate. 20 shots in
total.
August 24th
Falling Plates Full Bore
Gallery Rifle
Fastest time to knock over all 7 plates at 25
yards. Number of shots? Hpw big is your
magazine!!
September 21st
John Gittus Trophy
Round 1 of 2
Gallery Rifle Police Pistol 1 style competition.
Total shots 30 on turning targets. Course of
Fire Police Pistol 1. Centre fire rifle & Long
barrelled revolver at 35 yards.
Stage 1:- 35 yards, Maximum 6 rounds
loaded at any time. 12 shots in two minutes to
include reload.
Stage 2:- 20 yards, 12
shots in strings of 6. Target will make 6
appearances of 4 seconds. 1 shot only per
appearance. This is shot twice.
Stage 3:- 10 yards, 6 shots. The
target will make 3 appearances of 4 seconds.
Only 2 shots to be fired at each appearance.
Total shots 30. Maximum score 300.
October 12th

November 23rd
Cut the
wand. Teams of 3
Any calibre, any rifle or pistol, any sights,
unlimited shots. You may want to start reloading
now!! Competition involves shooting through a
two inch by one inch stick till it breaks in
half, quickst team wins all. Three shoot at the
same time.
December 21st
Christmas
Competition. Loads of prizes. Everyone's
a winner! To be decided nearer the time. Will
give you plenty of notice.
The Marion
Lea Ladies Trophy
may be competed for throughout 2008, consisting
of 1Xcard smallbore
at 20m. ands 1Xcard fullbore at 25 yds , both to
be shot before December 7th. Cards to be handed
to the Competitions Secretary
